What has to be recorded about each individual battery

Point 4 of Annex XIII is the point that makes the passport a record rather than a datasheet: 20 of its 21 data points apply to an LMT battery from 18 February 2027, and most of them cannot be written until the battery has been in use. Capacity fade, power fade, internal resistance and its increase, energy round trip efficiency, the number of charging and discharging cycles, the negative events such as accidents, the operating conditions it has seen, and its status as original, repurposed, re-used, remanufactured or waste. Access sits at Article 77(2)(c), persons with a legitimate interest, which is the level the implementing act under Article 77(9) was meant to define.
