They cover the public website, the pricing simulator, the demonstration facsimiles it produces, and the public battery passport pages. For a customer who registers online they also cover the paid service and the operator console: when you register you accept the version of these terms shown at that moment, and we record which version and when.

Where instead we agree terms with you in a separate written agreement, that agreement prevails over this page wherever the two differ.

The simulator can produce a facsimile of a battery passport so that you can see the product before buying it. A facsimile is marked as a demonstration, carries a serial beginning with DEMO that resolves in no system of record, expires by itself, and states that its authenticity is not verifiable. It has no history and it attests nothing.

A facsimile is not a battery passport within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 and satisfies no obligation under it. You may share a facsimile to evaluate the product. You may not present it, in whole or in part, as evidence of compliance, as a record of a real battery, or as anything other than the demonstration it says it is.

Public pages accept a preview parameter that dresses the site in a different name and colour, so that a manufacturer can see the passport under its own brand. The preview changes pixels, not facts: it creates no relationship with, and implies no endorsement by, the brand whose name you type. The name you enter appears only as part of a sentence describing the preview, never as recorded data.

The prices published on this site are our actual list, stated so that you can estimate your own case without talking to anyone. The simulator's output is an estimate built from your own inputs, and an estimate is not a binding offer.

When you register and place your order online, the order becomes binding on your acceptance, and the version of these terms you accepted then governs it. Where instead we agree terms in writing, that written agreement governs. Passports are billed as they are used, on the published list, and invoicing runs through our accounting system.

The site is offered for reading, evaluating and buying the product. You may not attempt to bypass access controls, probe or disrupt the service, harvest data at scale, or submit forms by automated means. Passport pages are made to be scanned by anyone, including machines, at the rate a person or a fleet of batteries plausibly generates; bulk scraping of the site is not that.

Pages on this site describe Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 and its deadlines as we read them, with references to the text, and we keep them accurate with care. They are product documentation, not legal advice. Whether and when your products fall in scope is a question for your own advisers.

The site, its text, its design and the Stele Passport name belong to HunterTag S.r.l. or its licensors. Brand names used in the white-label preview belong to their owners and appear only at the visitor's request. Quoting the site for evaluation is fine. Republishing it as your own is not.

The public site and the demonstration material are provided as they are, without warranty of availability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, HunterTag S.r.l. is not liable for damages arising from reliance on demonstration material or on the free parts of the site.

For the paid service and the console, we take reasonable care to keep them available and correct, and, to the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what these terms or, where one exists, a written agreement provide. Nothing on this page limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or the service levels of a written customer agreement, which stand on their own.

These terms are governed by Italian law. Disputes about them go to the courts of Milan, Italy, without prejudice to mandatory rules that assign jurisdiction elsewhere.

If these terms change, the change appears on this page and the date at the top moves. Changes apply from publication and never retroactively.
